This position is for a systems engineer of battery systems. The role of this position is to insure that customer expectations are met by overseeing the technical interfaces of sub-systems. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed in Job Tasks/Responsibilities satisfactorily. The systems engineer is responsible for receiving customer requests, developing system solutions, managing systems requirements and interfaces, and developing innovative solutions. Candidates must be passionate about delivering the best solution to our customers.
Manage customer, internal and legal requirements including identification, communication, traceability and compliance. Prior experience with requirements management a plus.
Manage application specific DFMEA's and update boundary diagrams.
Assist functional groups with the creation of DVP&R's based off requirements.
Work with suppliers to develop innovative products.
Manage, develop and execute test plans for high level design verification and manufacturing.
Perform/Support technical design reviews within LGCPI and with its customers. TDR's will be expected at the concept, detailed design and production sign-off stages.
Lead analyzing data to ensure customer expectations are met.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering form a four-year accredited college or university
Strong understanding of multi-disciplinary systems
Working experience with product development cycles
Experience with batteries, battery management systems, power electronics, or other energy systems is desirable
Strong communication skills and ability to discuss technical issues with a wide range of audiences
Present to various levels of management with different depth of expertise
Articulate specifics on product details
Describe development proposals and problem descriptions
